Study: Eat 300 fewer calories daily to prevent weight regain

Dieters need to eat at least 300 fewer calories daily to avoid regaining the weight they lost, according to a study presented at the European Congress on Obesity. "The number of calories you are going to have to eat to maintain that weight loss falls by 22%. That's 300 calories or more a day less than someone who looks exactly like they do," said researcher Michael Rosenbaum of Columbia University.
