Study: Childhood Obesity Affects Math Performance

Author: Children who were obese fared worse on math tests from first grade through fifth grade than non-obese children, University of Missouri researchers wrote in the journal Child Development. They also found that obese children were more likely than their peers to feel sad, lonely and anxious.
