Coffee, Fats May Affect Fertility Treatment
Drinking more than five cups of coffee per day reduces a woman's likelihood of getting pregnant while receiving fertility treatment by 50%, according to a study presented at the annual meeting of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology in Turkey. Consuming high amounts of saturated or polyunsaturated fats may also reduce the odds of pregnancy during in vitro fertilization, but consuming monounsaturated fats could raise a woman's odds of getting pregnant, another study presented at the same meeting found.
